essay papers, research papers

Pixar re-released "Toy Story" to commemorate its 10th anniversary (of release), and to let viewers reacquaint with the characters that will star in "Toy Story 3" next summer. It's no surprise that the first installment of what might be a film series did well in the box office; many movie essay papers consider "Toy Story" as one of the best animated films ever made.

The plot follows Woody's rivalry with Buzz Lightyear, whom the latter supplants the former as the top toy in a boy's room. At the heart of the film is the universal theme of acceptance. But this isn't what made "Toy Story" a treat; many research papers noted its insightful script and its (animated) production design, which is innovative back then. Credit to Pixar, which changed animation for the better.

Tom Hanks and Tim Allen were memorable as the voices of Woody and Buzz respectively. Both have chemistry, which was made more colorful by an array of unforgettable toys (led by Mr. Potato Head). The addition of Jessie (voiced by Joan Cusack) made the gang rowdier in "Toy Story 2". I think "Toy Story 3" would be different. Probably even better. This is from Pixar, which never rehashes the same formula - or story - twice.
